Paste screen from the error you get in the 3.0 remere (doesn't matter if it's the same, I want to look if there is something with the remere).

If you import the map in a new one, try to change the client version with Map, properties, then save it and see if this works.

I bet you're just not using the right client.

I suggest just first downloading the 8.6 client from here.
And when they ask for you to pick your client, choose that one in your 'program files'.
Then atleast you'll be able to open it...
