Linux Map lags one step

I'm running the windows version of RME in wine on ubuntu 12.10 and it lags one step like I press down and it does nothing, then I press right and it goes down, then I press down and it goes right.

Is there any way to fix this it's really annoying and i can't get the linux version to work for me.

I get this error
E: Invalid operation libboost_thread-gcc42-mt-1_34_1.so.1.34.1
and I have all libboost_thread packages installed....

sudo apt-get curl

never worked for me, so how do I make it work?

if 2.1 does not support 9.6 then I can not use it anyway since I need 9.6 support
