I'm writing to you today because I'm embarking on a very exciting and nostalgic project that I hope will capture the interest of many of you. As a solo developer, I've decided to take on the ambitious task of creating a complete remake of the iconic map from OrionOTS / PegazOTS.
My goal is to faithfully recreate those unforgettable places that brought us so much joy and adventure years ago. I'm planning to merge elements from well-known cities and areas like Evolution, Armonia, Karmia, and Real Tibia locations into one cohesive map, while giving them a fresh yet authentic feel.
This project is entirely individual, for my own personal use and enjoyment, but I truly believe the final result will be something I can share with you all in the future. I want to build a unique hybrid that combines classic RPG style with evo elements, offering diverse and engaging gameplay for solo play (with an option for a companion character/bot).
I've already started working on this! I'm using various YouTube videos as references, but unfortunately, that's not enough to capture all the details.
How can you help?
For this remake to be as accurate as possible and truly evoke the atmosphere of those old days, I desperately need your memories and materials!
If you have any recordings, screenshots, photos (even low quality ones!) of cities, depots, favorite respawn areas, or any other places from OrionOTS or PegazOTS maps, please share them here in this thread or contact me privately. Every single detail, no matter how small, is incredibly valuable to me and will help in faithfully recreating these legendary territories.
Any feedback, suggestions, or just shared memories related to these servers are more than welcome! Together, we can bring back the spirit of the good old Tibia days.
