Windows Map Tile Conversion Glitch

Hello,

Recently I converted my map from 8.0/8.1 to 8.6 by creating an empty map of 8.6 and importing my 8.0/8.1 map. Safe to say, it worked fine (better than actually converting it the other way, inwhich I lost my map) but sadly, a bunch of invalid red squares are popping up all over my map. I was told you could replace the squares with their IDs, but you can't because the items don't exist for you to select them on the replace list. I have to take out every single one individually, and after 3 hours of doing that, I only got 10% of them fixed...

I was wondering if there was a faster, more efficient way to fix this issue and restore my map to the beauty it once had without these squares trashing it up?

If you have any solutions at all, please help.

Try to change items.xml and items.otb, the same thing happened to me . Good luck

Well, for starters try those from RemeresMap Editor, you know how to find em, right? Copy it from the 8.60 Folder.

:/ Alright, I just copied those into the OT Items folder, tried it, and it didn't work. Then I took the ones in the OT folder and replaced them in the map editor 8.6 items, didn't work... I'm really lost. :S

I've got the same problem. I've tried lots of things but nothing works. Did you solve it? Thank you
