Good day. After years of working almost completely alone, I've decided to open a spot for a new mindset (hopefully that is you).
I am Swedish
I write and talk fluent english
I am 25 years old
I am unemployed
The main goal for my server is to have a vast amount of things for the players to do. Exploring, calculating, grinding, rpging, fighting, solving puzzles and riddles, having a laugh at the concept, or just go fishing and talk to other players.
The main reason I am doing this is because I think many factors in making an ot is fun. I also enjoy playing my own OT as I have worked on it for over 4 years in periods, since I changed it, remade things and created new content over and over again.
The first reason I started to make an ot was because the ot's I liked to play shut down. one after another, time and again. Or, the administration was poor or just, plain mean to it's players.
I can introduce myself and my time on open tibia servers in a hundred walls of text, but that would be quite boring for you. Let's go to the -
Reason I am asking for your help;
First of all, I need someone to converse and discuss with about my current work, my future plans. And also to critisize and debate on my current ideas.
Secondly, I am often letting this project die because I pile up on stuff I want to do - I add something, and during that time i will come up with 3 new things I want to customize or edit.
Most of all I want assistance in making minor edits, basic xml editing, such as items/monsters.
Have you ever created your own custom ot? That makes us atleast two!
Do you want to make a piece of map? Great! I built half my world without auto-borders (you'll know the time it takes if you've maped before
), please contribute anything you want.
Do you have knowledge about how to make new monsters and editing items? Perfect, I got over 100 custom monsters and 20+ custom items, but I plan to make alot more.
Can you edit alredy existing lua scripts and know somewhat what you are doing? Splendid! Now I might not have to do it all by myself or ask on the support forums.
Are you good with puzzles, stories, humor in games? Excellent, nothing beats a game that have some jokes!
Do you have more experience than this? Awesome
I don't like "applications", they are so vauge and don't really tell me much about you. The only actual request here is that you have atleast one of the 5 previously mentioned experiences.
So I could go into more detail, what it is exactly I would expect of you, and what you would get in return. We can discuss this further through a short, or long if nescessary, interveiw. Where we will decide wether or not we should work together.
But what I can promise that you will get is, a new friend.
