Monster shouldn't move/walk diagonally

Hello there.

I was searching for days and couldn't find the right solution.
I am trying to get the monster movement to not walk diagonally (solved) and also
they shouldn't move if they can shoot but not reach you.(Just stay and shoot gfb or whatever they does)
Like this:

but actually it looks more like this because they keep moving (wont reach me tho) shoot but walk around.

I just can't find what I am supposed to change.
Appreciate any help.
