Greets!
Begin to have a look at vocations.xml in your data folder, XML, and you'll find all the vocations and their Ids.
A Knight may go to as for example an Elite Knight, just copy that part, give it a custom Id and custom regenerations etc if you want (will be easy to see what part does what), the pre-voc is set for the number of the Knight ID so that means you may become the Elite Knight after the Knight.
Now copy/change the promotion NPC and set it to lvl 20, edit the text and what gold you want it to cost, now you got yourself a new class vocation or upgraded class. Its atleast the basics of it.
