Most Powerful Countries

Stupid debate, everywhere is in union of some sort meaning it has another 10 countries supporting it.

You can't handle one day in their army?
Did u saw egypt army? I guess no ;)

2 years ago, they had like 15 mens training with the egyptian team from U.S.A, the train was for like 3 weeks, no reset, etc, they just eat in seconds and after that, after 2 days, U.S.A mens is out, they were going to die,

6th october 1973, egypt won Isreal, and egypt won U.S.A and egypt won france, isreal, usa in 1 row when russia was giving weapons to these 3 coutries, but who cares?

EGYPT FTW!

Hey Bro,

I must say Royal Guardin Speciel Team in Saudi Arabian / Egypten are very good, they are much better than SWAT. The Arabian Revolution was hold in 1 moth at Kario and they called for backup i think USA walked in and helped. But if Egypt was strong enough they should handle it self. :D

Economically? Not really sure. But as long as we're talking about military power: the US... it's not even up for debate.

The US spend more than the top 14 nations UNITED.
(I'd argue it's a bad thing, though.)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_military_expenditures

Nuclear warheads (active/total):
US: 2,150 / 8,000
Russia: 1,800 / 10,000
France: 290 / 300
etc

Love it or hate it, the US is indeed the most powerful (military wise) nation on Earth. And I won't even go into details; jets, vehicles, weapons, soldiers, intelligence, etc.

Bonus material, the glorious B2 bomber:

Oh those Chinese eh, not sure if they still have the law where a person can give birth to as many girls as possible but once they have a boy they aren't allowed any more kids, they're pretty horny buggers in China by the looks of their population though.

A lot of things are considered in the "military budget", not just tanks, guns, ammunition. This expands to research and development, as well as intelligence gathering (which is off the charts), and probably other things (i.e. http://otland.net/f21/future-attribute-screening-technology-170482/#post1650314) - "off the books" types of things. I'm sure there is even a black budget we're unaware of as well. (I know for a fact that every President has their own black budget.) Yes, our budget is high, but necessary to a certain extent. As a citizen, I don't mind sacrificing a little cash every pay check for security and intelligence. What concerns me is health care. Our health care expenditures are 4x more than our military budget - and exponentially increasing.

They always say, "cut military spending" and actually never do (or do so for a short period, then increase it), nor do they need to. Health care needs to be reformed, it shouldn't cost $500 for a check up and $45,000 for a titanium implant (not including costs of actual surgery). Insurance companies and doctors all over the United States take advantage of government medicaid and medicare systems.

As for overall military strength, I'm pretty sure the USA is the strongest. Mainly because we have the latest in weaponry and technology. But China keeps taking on our debt, they basically own part of the United States (bonds, etc.). I also believe they're trying to buy communication networks here in the states, it was on the news the other day - they're buying our communication companies and establishing networks over here. This is probably not a good thing.

A lot of issues must be addressed, and soon...otherwise, we'll all face dire consequences - and by all, I do mean everyone in the world. Because the USA is the largest consumer nation in the world, if our economy goes, so will yours (9/10 times). This is why when the housing bubble popped in the United States, banks all over the world collapsed. Why? Because banks here in the USA were selling (gambling) our mortgages to people in Europe. Why would someone buy our mortgages? They make money off of the interest. Banks take the short, easy, and unethical way out - this lead to careless spending and extremely risky investments.

TL;DR - It's all fucked up... <_<

I agree ;)

You have to pay for medical care in America?

Yes, you do have to pay. Our taxes differ from most of Europe's. European countries pay higher taxes which provides health care and other benefits we do not have in the United States.

You still pay for it in Europe, but indirectly through taxes.
