My First Mapping :D , Hope You Like it

It's so extremely random, that it's a bit hard to give you any advice.

First of all, don't zoom out in your editor to take pictures, because now, there's not that much to see than a zoomed out area.
You have to get out of that realm of high exp servers, this is clearly one of those maps for high exp servers, not cared about, quickly autobordered and just big enough so they have what they need.

I suggest doing something differently, completely differently.
Do a little island, for example. Some nature, maybe a little mountain on it, and check out some tutorials.
Then show us what you made, and I'll give you some advice.

Autoborder is the tool that automaticily gives your tile the borders around it.
Most newbies in mapping don't know how to use autoborder properly and make squary looking things.

Shape is important, and with RAW you can easily make some sexy shapes, whilst using autoborder it's harder, that's why most people say "try RAW"

Make your island hell a lot smaller, to begin with.
Then try to use one sort of tree and add little bushes next to it, instead of randomly throwing a milion sorts of things in one place.
It could also use some tufts (search them with J in your editor)

Your mountain is extremely squary and it doesn't look good at all.
It misses borders, has no shape whatsoever.

I suggest doing things on a much smaller scale, and taking your time to do things, because this is extremely rushed and probably done in a few minutes, if not seconds.

I suggest looking at Tutorial Threads or other people's artwork before mapping.
