Protip: shape areas with raw. Make sure autoborder is off (edit-borderselection isnt ticked).
And use raw borders. It should take on average about 1-2 hours for a spawn of decent size and quality (something to reference by).
Autoborder isn't necessarily bad. It is a major time saver. Just avoid it when not making mountains/caves imo.
Check up on map tutorials and threads like hesten, peroxide, luffy, etc mapping threads for ideas.
