Hello everyone! Today i will showoff my little browser game. I am take a break for a while from Tibia developments, after years of work. And now just change a genre. Also programming language too.

That is not a Unity3D or Flash. That is WebGL & HTML5! "Space" Scene - have a few layers, for make them "3D". All graphics is Isometric 2.5D. Networking provided by SuperWebSocket's library. Game UI provided by KendoUI. Server software coded on C# (Mono, cross-platform).

I will make a little "EvE online" in browser hehe. Explore the galaxy, fight vs alot of different types enemies.
Right now i am working on quests system, and some systems such as Refinery, Craft and etc.
Currently game is in hard development. But still not enought for beta. (Engine core finished, game mechanics - nope. it stay on 30% only).



PS. if someone can draw a spaceships, high-quality stations, items and etc. and wanna help me with that game - you are welcome! Let me know in PM :)
 
Idea is custom. Graphics content - partial. For example, i have my own graphics for items, planets, asteroids and etc. But lack of Space Stations, Space Ships, Jumpgates and some like that content. Thats why i am using a unsing content (by their owners) from not exist anymore game - Uridium Wars.
The idea, gameplay mechanics and others - is custom. But i am a indie developer, not a billionaire, and cant buy a high quality graphics from some studio for 30.000-50.000$++... I will be veeery happy to find a graphic artist for that game, and using my own ships, gates, stations... But that just a dream i guess. Hard to find a graphic artist, who able to create graphics with same quality. And who will be interested in this project.:(:(:(
 
Seems great! Just remember whenever you wanna go public with this, do you own the rights for all the images and graphics?
 
partially. Most of graphics - by me, some - not yet. But that is not a great problem.

But in future, i think, i am replace all non-own, content to my own ones.
And little trick. Copyright cant be applied to concept art, concept ideas, principe, programming languages and etc etc etc. Well, my graphics - based on original concept art, and not contains original content or part of them. Byte-to-Byte they are not identical =) Impossible to get copyright for RGB or for triangles, cubes, circles. If not - i am going to register them, and all should pay me :p

Also - client & server source code - my own. Graphics - partially. But, for example that ship - not used anymoar for commercial usage. Project where i am saw this ship sprite, already dead from 2010 year + that sprite are not identical to original one. Them re-created. Plagiate? Maybe, but not a copyrights law hehe. :D

ps. OTServers for example, same - using a CipSoft client & content. hehe. :D and nothing. Exept my Ellestia Kingdoms :p They have a fully my own graphics. Just for example:
Paladin - copyrighted by me and Ellestia Kingdoms.
