Hamachi

Hamachi is a program that creates a peer-to-peer (P2P), is the same technology as Kazaa, to simulate a local network between 2 or more computers (LAN).

Starting

The first step is to download Hamachi.
Note that the hamachi is only available for Windows 2000, XP and 2003.

Download Hamachi (Portuguese)
It is advisable that all players have the same version as yours. We have no record of incompatibility, but it's good not to risk

After downloading the executable, run it and follow the steps. Installation is simple and needs no further details.

In particular: Screen Installation hamachi

After installing, run the program.
You can skip the splash screens, special attention to the screen that prompts the creation of its 'NickName' (Name).

If the Hamachi start correctly, it will be with an IP number and press 'Power' green.
Now we need to create a network.

Hamachi uses networks to group computers with the same interest in his case, play OTServ.
All players must enter a network belonging to the hoster to join the game.

To create a network follow these steps:

Click the "Create or Join Networks" (button-shaped triangle button).
Click 'Create new network'.

To create a network you must specify a name and a password (Required).
Remember: Hamachi is 'Case Sensitive', uppercase make a difference.
Write down the name and password, players will need to enter the appropriate server.

Tip: Create names easy to remember and your OT. Look also create multiple networks because each network has a maximum number of participants.

In particular: Screen for creating a network

Configuring your server

After all steps have been made it is time to configure your server.
The process is simple, just modify the config.lua

You may have noticed that at the top of Hamachi, there is an IP number.

Copy and paste this number in your config.lua

- The ip the server should redirect too

ip = "5.0.0.53"

This is the IP of your OT.
He does not change, then there is no need to create a static IP.
Is it also that you will use the IP Changer.

Sites with Hamachi

To create sites on Hamachi, use the same system that would create normal, but the URL of the site will http://www.IPDOHAMACHI:8090

Remember that to access the site you need to log on the network.

Accessing your server

For others to access your server needs to be connected to Hamachi and forming part of one of their networks.

To join a network:
Click the "Create or Join Networks" (button-shaped triangle button).
Click Join Existing Network '.

Just fill in the name of the network password, as in particular:

Hamachi should always stay connected, monitor network participants by the program, you can ban people from your network and talk to them too.
Explore the Hamachi and make the best of it!

Hamachi and OTServ
Salvation :-)

Introduction ~

Everyone who has mounted a OTServ know what it takes to release the service and the firewall port 7171.
However for some "Felizardos" that has * Shared Internet problems are only beginning ...

Hamachi ~

Hamachi is a program that creates a peer-to-peer (P2P), is the same technology as Kazaa, to simulate a local network between 2 or more computers.

According to its manufacturers it is a program high-tech and very cool

Hamachi is very simple and easy to use and solves the problem of who has shared Internet!

Screen Program Hamachi

Hamachi runs on Windows 2000, XP

OTServs with Hamachi ~

Most users will avoid the maximum joining servers with Hamachi, many argue that is because of having to install the program, or even worse get in an OT Via hamachi.

But they never stopped to assess it properly:

If these people have shared Internet say who has more computers in the house. Usually 1 for each person.
So there is no problem with the Father to turn off the OT, or the sister that downloads music!

The likelihood of 24 hours is actually much larger.

Once you set the Hamachi is no need to tinker with anything else.

So what I ask is that you try the Hamachi!
There are servers running really good with him, and worth a try!
