My server wont go online?!?

When my friends tryed to log into my server their character list wouldn't even come up... i just switched my server from 8.42 to 8.5 and it wont work. there are no errors when i load it up and all i can login with is 127.0.0.1, which yes, ik is local. Please help.

i have already checked my router setup, and my connections and port forwarding again. i just had my other server up like yesterday.

why would i need to port forward 8000? i port forwarded both 7171 and 7172

yea, well i have everything port forwarded correctly.... i really have no clue whats blocking it from being online. i am trying to use tfs 2.4

it is not solved, i have a linksys router, and i have had a lot of ots this is the first time i have had problems with it. Could it be my ps3 messing up my signal?

Yes it is possible that ps3 is here a truble, if u have dhcp turned on.

Maybe your no-ip DNS is not listening to your current IP, try putting your IP in its normal format: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Yep, as KugaSh1rA said. Put there ur real ip, and then chec if it working. If not we will back to diesable ur DHCP and make ur Port Fowarding more practical ( i have linksys too )

it still doesn't work, what else could be wrong. Could i have to change something in my mysql database er something? I have hosted ots for like a year now, this is the first time i have had issues putting them online.

i said one more time. Do you have DHCP turned ON on ur Linksys?


Dhcp gives every computer connected to nettwork some local ip (192.168.1.x), where x is number range 2- 255. if u have in port forwarding put 7171 on 192.168.1.2, and then u get ip by DHCP 192.168.1.6 then port won't be forwarded as well on ur machine )
