What do you think about Naruto,Dragon ball, Pokemon, etc. servers?

Isn't the use of characters, items, etc. protected by copyright?

How can these servers function and the copyright owners of the character graphics do nothing? Or they do and I don't know anything about it :D

My opinion: Servers usually don't last more than three months. They're launched one per day, and the maximum number of players reaches 300. In my view, it wouldn't be worth going to court over it.

There have been many servers for a long time that have been several thousand online players at the same time and no one has made a problem with it. For example Pokexgames, which today that the fanpage has 617k followers

I remember it having legal issues thats why its not called pokemon online anymore.
I guess companies just dont care enough to start legal wars everywhere, unless it can be done through a platform like, selling pirate dragonball figure on alibaba.

No one really cares that much. Go ahead and claim copyright for an object worth maybe $20, and you'll end up probably spending tens of thousands on a legal battle only to gain nothing from it and at the end of the day they person that stole the sprites could change few pixels and there is no copyright anymore, so its just waste of time. Its just something that you cant fight againts, same like there was a mockup 1:1 of pubg everyhing was exactly the same and PUBG didnt do anything at all, because it just not worth.

From what I remember the name "Pokexgames" has always been there, maybe you mixed up the servers.

I have wondered how pokexgames gets away with it, I think its mostly just because its only brazilian people playing it...If it was big worldwide then nintendo would absolutely go after them. They are notorius for protecting their trademarks. I love pokexgames and pokemon in general so hopefully nothing happens.

Currently, there is nothing on the PxG website that can be treated as violation of copyrights, they even changed the pokeball to some weird disk, and people from Nintendo do not log into their game so they probably don't even know about that.

Except PxG and maybe GLA others OTS are very small, so copyright owners may don't even care.
