After a break where we could test the things mentioned before, it’s time to move forward and learn from the results.
The game is too complicated for new players and not adapted to modern times.
Today, people are busy, working, rushing... and a game should feel like a break from daily life, not another difficult task.
Because of that, the new direction is simple:
✍ make the game more enjoyable
Let's go:
- Faster movement outside combat
The first step in this direction is increasing speed when you are out of combat.
I also added a nice trail effect when running fast.
In the future, this trail will be customizable with different styles.
(It’s not a top priority right now, but you can share ideas for trails you’d like to see!)
- New battle list sorting mode: "Mouse"
This mode sorts creatures based on how close they are to your mouse cursor.
The key (default F) can be changed in config.txt.
- Translator (experimental)
I also worked on in-game translator with clickable links and highlighted words.
But since I use a free API, the translate is poor.
So for now, it’s not a serious feature.
We touched on topics:

✍ Listening to and implementing player requests
