Hi and welcome to my first tutorial! I will teach you how to make an cool nature spot! I've seen many of these tutorials. But they are not so detailed, so it could be hard for newcomers


On picture you see an "tab" here you can choose wich "style" you want, i often use this for nature.

Grass - Alternate Border


We start to make an area with this grass ( also add some water)Something like this

Now add some details! First go to "Palette" And choose "Doodad Palette"

Then choose "Nature"

Choose "Grass Tutfs"

Add some "Grass Tutfs" on the grass

Then go back to "Terrain Palette" and choose "Nature"

Choose "dirt" also add some on the grass! And it will look something like this

Then add some details to the dirt ( go back to Doodad Palette/Nature.

Choose "Dead Tree"

Add some "Dead Trees" on the dirt

And some stones

That's enough for the dirt! Now add some details on the grass, first of all we add some "Trees"

After adding them it should look something like this!
NOTE: Leave some space for an road!

After that, we could add some bushes and trash

After that, we could add an road choose "Dirt" again

Now we could add some details on the road!

That's it! Now we're finished! Outcome

I didn't like the tutorial, it doesn't look good at all imo, a big square and the nature isn't that good

Agree with Fragdonut, you should make only grass on the screenshot, not water. or if you would use water, make a better shape.

Well, the shape looks horrible true .. But acutaly this is not an shape tutorial this is an nature tutorial so don't look at the shape.
