There are these things, like navigators or smth, which can be added above taskbar. For linux, it's called Avant Window Navigator. It looks like this:
I am looking for the same thing, but on windows. I know they are called somehow different, but I couldn't google it. Some of you are defenitely using these. So I would like to know how are they called on windows, so I can get one!

and yes I did understand what you mean and my answer was correct. you need a windows 7 / windows vista theme to get that "box" to drag and drop files etc.. shortcuts... I used it at windows
