need help server+sprites

im new to making ots. and have read/searched alot of the tuts..
im slow and or retarded but yeah if anyone could help answer a few nub questions for me.. (goin on 16+ hours reading,, sux


k so i would like to create an ots with the most uptodate server/client. where characters save etc. as close to real tibia as possible. ***but where i can add new monsters and player/outift/sprites***//spell animations.scripting/mapitemedit



im not sure about forgotten server but sounds somewhat the direction i need to head? if so how do i resprite it

ive read most tuts and its alot to take in.
anyone mind linking a tut or explaing

how to: get new sprites into your server. do you have to make a client and insert them in before compiling? and what programs are needed?

my impression was if i setup mysql with aac? or w,.e for accont manager and website i just distibute my own client. kinda lost sry..
