Look, i really dont know what your issue is, with my lack of skills. It's how the world works. Get over it. People depend on others. I might make more money doing another thing, than wasting time on learning a new skill set, that you people already have.
And also, i dont think you are the man for the job, instead of asking what i needed, you already started with the wrong foot, by naming what i lacked.

Okay, just to help the users that read all this.
How do you plan to create a new server without knowledge of lua, c++, php, html or any other language?
I mean your thread looks like your recruiting users from forum, to build a new server, this is right so far yeah?
But how shall this project start rolling when yourself have no idea how to even compile a exe?

Dont get me wrong, but you seem to have wrong idea how OTS work.
If you MIGHT make more money with doing other stuff, you should do that instead.
 
I already do. This is just another thing i would like to do, i really dont care about money here. I'm actually gonna have to pay monthly, just to get it online. My country is the most expensive of Latin America, its even more expensive than usa and some eurpoean ones. It's just that im old enough, to support it, and i really like the old tibia times. I dont want it to stop existing. And i really think playing with no lag, would be the icing on the cake.

So you will need a full datapack for 7.x - where do you want to get it from?
The reason why there is almost no oldschool server is because almost nobody got these files complete except a few users.
You can count those who have these files complete on 2 hands. But also all of them know how to host a server, so why should they give you any access to these files for free?
And even if you try to buy them, you will not get them under 100 euro and if someone offers you them for less than 100 euro you can expect alot bugs.
How does your plans for getting a datapack look like?

he already said he can give players from his area since connection sucks there. Could you give us idea of how many people that server could possibly bring? do you know many tibia players irl? or is it just popular in your country atm? Im asking because there is no point to host a server that will be 10-/+ players just use wtfproxy man. Maybe some guilds? big teams?
 
I tried wtfast , and some other proxies. Cant get less than 200 ping. Same happens when playing Counter Strike, we can only play on servers from here. Argentina mainly. I do know around 30 players who played here. I'm pretty sure with some advertising, people will play. I do know it will take prolly a year or so to see some profit monthly. Also all the people that like old servers, its because they played back then. So they dont mind spending some cash on the game. since we are not kids anymore.
And also, lets not get this wrong, I dont want to team up. I just want someone who can charge me for the servers, and then maybe a fee for maintenance if its necessary.
 
Also, my isp provider is Antel here. You can ping antel.com.uy and youll see the ping that you have. Everytime i see videos online, people play with 20, 30 ms, when we log, we get 200...
