idk he is just clueless on how to map and needs help!!
You should avoid:
-stacking more than 20 stones on one tile
-using more than 5 walltypes for one building
-making impathable paths
-putting firewalls/firefields on wooden walls
-putting trees on water
-mapping bad maps
-mapping a house without floor
-making a spawn without monsters in it
-putting gras tufts on water
-placing stones on lava
-using dirt as roof
and last but not least: avoid asking questions which would have so many answers that you wouldn't have the time to read them in your whole lifetime..
It's just dumb to think that giving advices will make you a good mapper. If you are to lazy to map something you probably shouldn't be a mapper. So create a fu****g map and we will tell you what you can improve on..

Lol, I laughed kinda hard at the trolling.
@Topic, he kinda has a point, map something and we'll tell you how you can improve.
You'll need to download a map editor, think of what you want to map whether it's a spawn, town or just something random, then find what goes into the map and place it with the editor until it looks good or how you want it to. After you do that, take a screenshot and post it here.

Rush, map something and send it to my inbox, I'll tell you what to improve on. aswell take a look around the mapping thread for some tips and ideas, and the Tips and Hints thread hosted by Neon. Id advise you to not put this in the discussion thread, why? because its not a discussion its turned into a troll bored for obvious reason such concerning ridiculous questions that shouldn't and won't be answered at any point of time until a valid mapping piece has been contributed, I would be more than happy to help you start and improve your mapping skills. further more, all the members in this board who haven been trolling and who continue to troll, "Trolling" is against Otlands offical rules and will not be tolerated. im not a moderator, and far from it but it sickens me to see such kids acting in this beharviour.
@Vctr, please no more trolling and, there wasen't any means nessercy to repentantly spam his thread in any means, even if the case that he was asking for nonsense mapping tutorials without using the "search" function. disreguarding if he has or not.
@ONT Please map somthign before creating a useless thread. thanks
@Rush I would gladly like so see some of your mapping pieces so I can see where you stand, I would have more than enough time to help you tonight and get you started.
