My job is based on a computer, so what? Sometimes, I'm working for 14h+, am I no-life because I'm earning money?

Most people work behind a computer 8 to 10 hours a day, I don't see the problem.
Umm buddy, when you're a grown-up your supposed to work 8-12 hours a day. Many of these people are programmers or simply work behind a desk to provide for their family. What's wrong with that? Just because he works with computers doesn't mean he has no life.

People who work every day are the people that have homes and nice cars. People who say they shouldn't work every day are the people living under a bridge. You have time on the weekends, responsibility comes before pleasure. Get your priorities straight buddy.

in US, IT is. All richest companies, are mostly IT companies, or atleast have big piece of themselves in IT.
paxton i am really agreed with you, if u earn money, and u are good on the computer, you will make much money, only look the world most richest man is slim, from mexico, but the second is bill gates based in creating windows xp, and is not the first richest cuz he donated alot, so please keep that in mind

But all around the work the work hours change due to different cultures.
It really does depend on your situation. If you have a family, then work should be the second to lower priority, if you are living by yourself with lots of free time then work as much as you like, ensuring your health doesn't suffer because of it. That's what I think.

Are you stupid? Work should be your top priority if you have a family because you have to PROVIDE for that family. This isn't fairytale land where everything is for free, you have to work to get it. You need to grow up.
lmao, enough with the insults - its petty and immature. Just because you don't make it your top priority doesn't mean you don't make a stable income -.- if you have a family then you should be working a stable job with good enough hours to spend time with your family and earning a living, or you shouldn't be raising a family in the first place. I know people that work 9 hour days 8am to 5pm and earn 100k+ a year. Its called a salary (maybe you should google this).
