not quite understanding. some coaching please.

ok, so iv been looking for a few days now. i have read many many tutorials, and found some very good ones, but navigated from the page, and are forever lost :x ok, to the point.

All that i have done so far

found a 9.44 server crystalserver
did port forward (to what i hope is correct)
config in the crystal server data
hex edited my client
changed all the tibia's ip to my own (local)
found the RSA key (after hours of searching) it is changed

i have saved all of that, and started the server up, everything checks out fine. Server is online.
i have checked with sql in the account database of the server to find out what the account name and passwords are, i set them to 1/1 to login
When i try to log in i get an invalid account name or password and i cannot seem to figure this out.

i have closed the server and tried to login i get the error 100061 (means server is offline)

before i changed the RSA key i had got a RSA key decrypt in the server prompt when i had tried to connect.

any suggestions on what i should do further?

so you changed them to 1/1 (using SQLite I'm assuming) and then opened the server and closed your client and reopened it and tried? If you didn't close your client you should. I've had a few problems like that before and to make an acc creater char you have to do it manualy with the right params.

If you are using mysql, which is PhpmyAdmin, then you have probably got encryption type sha1?

go to sha1.cz paste your pass, then generate it, paste it in database.

im using sqlite expert personal 3.4.9.2218

i dont know where to go for sha1.cz, or what it would be in :x Big noob here xD

Uh, nvm, you shouldn't host a server yet... Study the forum, and then do it when you are actually ready!

i think its just because my server isnt ready that their are any accounts made, but im sure their are.would the sha1.cz cause this? x.x

you gotta erase your database then redo it all after the sha.1. I do believe. My memory isn't the best.
