Not bad for a beginner, it would look more real if you made the island and mountain non-symmetrical, as nature usually is not. Also you've got some seaweed on the land which is a bit out-of-place, but I like it, nice map!

Don't be random, map a nice area, even if it takes an hour to find the right items.
