can make my server goes down
if I do not restart the modem, the server is down before opening

and btw noone is nuking your server, if is crashing during loading items then problem is in items.xml

If he's using a botnet then it's nothing that you can fix by checking your firewall and computer for trojans/backdoors - you need to contact your ISP and tell them you're the target of a DDoS attack.
