Old computer, (K)Ubuntu

Hello all, i want to install Ubuntu on my old computer.
SweClockers.com - Galleri: Byrå Dator/Server.

But i cant install it from USB-memory, i have tryed to burn out a copy on a cd, but not working either.

I have changed some options in BIOS so the startup would choose USB before HDD.

At the moment its Kubuntu 7.04 at the computer, and wondering if its worth change to Ubuntu 8.10

Ok,, then i install xp and install 8.10 from there.. im noobish at Linux.

Anyone got an idea ow to make my wireless internet work on ubuntu?

i got an Netgear WG111T.

I alredy know that wireless sucks.. but i must use it. cuz i live like 20-40m from my router in another building.

I cant get ndiswrapper to install. :S i got Ubuntu 8.10

Ubuntu? I also tryed that OS.. Kinda stable but super in operateble with other programs of the web. Thats why i installed XP again on my server.. If u still wanna use ubuntu try using wine.. and if you dont know how to install aplications try using the the therminal..
