Open up a new server..

Hello everyone,

it's been a while since I've been working on a server (around 2011~).. it seems like a lot of things have changed. I was just wondering if there is an up to date tutorial somewhere on how to create your own server? (I did see some on OTland, but they are not working for me)

Also I was looking for a full RL Map + map editor, which I believe back in the day was "remeresmapeditor". I can't really find anything about this one anymore.

Hey there! Kind of the same story for me, and I can share what I've found so far. This guide was great for setting up a server and worked for me, is that the one that didn't work for you? I used the 10.98 tibia version first that worked without problems. If you want other versions or need to compile your own server it can be a little more tricky especially with older versions I found. To compile a TFS (The forgotten server) Downgrade for version 8.6 I had to get an old vcpkg library for example and it took quite some headscratching until it was up and running.

As for a full RL map I'm not sure, but you should probably be able to find something under the maps section in downloads:
