TFS 1.X+ Opening body/container while monster is standing on it.

Hello Otlanders,

Have some strange issue, never saw any similar thread before so i created this one.

Living monster is standing at dead body monster, and I can open this body, by pressing it in the corner(red dot).
If i click at the center, living monster will be attacked, however... I think I am shouldn't be able to open dead body/container while living one is standing on it.
Classic controls enabled(regular options result in the same).
I am just using right mouse button, without additional shift or ctrl.

Looking for some feedback, thank you guys.

I think it's not the same as the global Tibia, I think on real Tibia I would neeed to use ctrl+mouse button.

It's normal, if you can click on that square outside the monster's frame you should be able to open the body.
You are right, I checked global and also one good retro server, global is as you said, but retro server not. I am certainly sure it wasn't like that back old days in Tibia ~7.6.

How to make it work like this ?



i also checked on real tibia is anybody is interested.

I assure you that it was like that in the old Tibia as well. You can test it on the original 7.7 client and cip engine (though it's purely a client side thing). The ots that you've checked uses a custom otclient and it must be wrong (or different from the real Tibia, I don't know if they changed it on purpose).

@magozon Take a look in the old Tibia client .dat file. Each outfit has an "offset" which defines by how much it should be moved away from the right-bottom corner of the square (the name may differ depending on the editor). E.g. a dwarf or an orc have an offset of 8,8 which means that they are moved to the left-upper side by 1/4 of the square. That's why their frame doesn't cover the whole square and you can click just outside of it to loot the body. But for example a dragon has an offset 0,0 so its frame covers exactly the whole square and you won't be able to do that then. However, if it is elevated, e.g. because of standing on a parcel, you should still be able to open that parcel.

This way is wrong because you can't open it.

actually you can open it with additional button like ctrl.

@kay explanation is totally enough solution for me, already changed some .dat positions and its working like retro server I mentioned before.
