Oracle script?

I am on forgotten server 0.2.14. and im in search for a script and a tutorial on how to install for a newb, I have tried many oracle scripts I found on there and not one has worked. the problem is I fill out the LUA and XML as it states but when I try to load it on rme 2.2 map editor nothing not a statue or any thing. I have previously added a charcter to sell instant spells and the npc was successful. so im confused??

That's because the npc has a look typeex, you don't see that in the map editor if you place the npc. It will still spawn ingame though.
What you can do is import an other npc with the same name, so you see the npc in the map editor.
When the server loads the npcs from the map, it will only look at the name and spawns the npc in your server with that name.
