OT 8.6

Hey there, I have now tried about 3 different ways to setup my own server (TFS 1.5 8.6 Nekiro (and also tried greeds))... I have followed the wiki guide and also after that two different youtubers and I still cant get it to work. I also think my folders and files are in the wrong place/messy as I have been trying everything possible I know how to.

After a while I got the compile to open CMD window and show me some error with sha_2 password~ at some times I get compile error in Visual Basic with some otphc.cpp (or something like that) is not in the folder (but it is)... I have tried running both Xaampp and Uniserverz and nothing seems to work.
Also I am a bit confused about what config.lua the server reads from as it doesnt seem to affect my config that is in the folder with the server?

I am kinda new to this and I have been trying for 2 days already, cant really seem what I am doing wrong here :/

thankful for any kind of help (can post screenshots if needed and I get respons on this)

Followed guide but didnt find VC 17 so went with 22.
Error when creating new myphp user but database created and user exists.

When editing config.lua I notice it doesnt look the same as the one in the guide, I have seen this before in youtube vids, the entire mySQL section is not there, I tried manually inserting it but still error when running the .exe for the server. Same as all the other times a fast flashing cmd-window.
I do not want to compile it and see what it shows this time... something is wrong like all the other times with the connection to database
Not sure if the config-file is accurate anyways...

the issue with sha_2 password is always the same problem, its the password you created for your database user that was made and assigned your game server's database. There is only two options (besides plain, which is not it) for the type of encryption on the password when you make it, if you get that error, just go generate a new password and this time change the encryption type to the other one, its only one or the other, if you have to, try it multiple times, but the problem is exactly that.
