Ot homepage errors - need help! <3

Hello, Me and a friend going to start a ot homepage but after installing Modern acc we faced some error "An Error Was Encountered
Your server runs verion of PHP older than 5.3.0. Please update in order to use this system. Err code: 140704042010"


I understand that i have to update the php, but where and how?

You need download the latest version of php! Or simply, Go and download Xampp 0.7.3 and install this. Put your web and this work 100% good.

Why would you tell someone to use xampp....
