ok, i'm new to this, me and som friends are going on lan and need a hoste. so we got a problem, got a server, but we cant start it. we have not done this since 7.6. so things have changed :( Can anyone help a noob en distress?

You really need to give more information. What kind server, version and client version do you use? If you try to start the server, what is the problem then? Do you get an error in your console, if so, make a screen of it and add it in your post. If the server is online, but no one can log in, already opened port 7171/7172 and used your global ipaddress (ip from www.whatismyip.com) in your config.lua?
