Sorry my inactivity the latest days, but the truth is that I haven't been around enough to have anything interesting to add to OTland.
But I've seen a lot of things, going through the history of OTland, seeing some interesting stuffs I might try out for a bit.

You that followed my earlier threads, you know I've been working with both game and website for some time
What can I say? the website is updated, for the first time it starts to look professional (in my opinion), but it still got a few glitches in design and functions yet that I'm currently working on.

About game, I'm taking a new path.
I'm not the first one to do this with experience, but I made it like this.
All creatures = 1x experience per kill! (rat = 5 exp, Orc = 25!)
However, the amount exp you need for a level is different!
FtT = Faster than Tibia
But with stages, it's hard as FUCK to get skill rates that fits in the long run..
same with magic level.. Seriously, either you get screw up low skills at lower level, or you'll get overpowered high skill at higher levels (because either you're exping with 2x exp and 40x skills, or exping with 100x exp and with 10x skill..)
So I thought, why not make a similar thing for skills/magic?
I made it so at start of skills, you'll gain 100x faster, and this will decrease when you reach higher skills
The skill-rate isn't exp-level based.
The good thing with these kind of things, is that it's easier to make a serious server with this, as it will be hard to get up to top levels, while it will be easy to join wars!
Another good thing, people wont run around with 100 skill fighting just because they was afk-training with friends for 3 days!
If you want 100 skill with this system, you'll need more than 3 days of training
However, your skills will always be decent for your current level, so you'll never have to spend infinity on training!
The experience you gain from quest boxes will be the same.
So you'll get around 4000 exp just for doing amazon quest, a valuable thing for low levels
Also the free-djinn access will stick.
I plan to open this server for real, on Friday(yes, this Friday. June 6:th)
