OTClient - Login error after editing LUA and OTUI files

I'm in the process of editing LUA and OTUI files for my client and when I make some changes, such as removing floor fading, I'm getting this issue:
I can login, walk around, cast spells, but the 'Connect to game server' window stays up.



has anyone else had this issue? All input and help is greatly appreciated.
