Anyone else notice that otfans.net doesn't reroute to otland anymore, in face it reroutes to opentibia.net but is still the same forum... Atleast for the most part... I have my account there from 2006 and I found that very exciting...

OpenTibia.net is OTFans.net, it's just they got a new domain.

What? Really now... I didn't know that, as a matter of fact I used to get to this site by typing in otfans.net.... thats actually how I stumbled upon it, trying to get here after being w/o internet for almost half a year... I then couldn't login (as well as noticing a huge difference in look) then I realized the domain.... Anyways I used search and I didn't see any topics announcing it or just people talking about it, the most relative I seen was when the owner was speaking of selling the domain.... but I didn't know it was up...

Does anyone know what the plans are for it?

I think it is great that we now have 2 big english ot forums for otserv development again... if there are others, sorry didn't know about them....

Another great thing is I get my old profile back, which I hope carries a little more respect than this one on here....

I don't use opentibia.net at all. I don't see the point of splitting small community into two, because users usually end up sticking with one site and not really using both as much.

Yeah, I think he's planning to sell one of the two domains (otfans.net or opentibia.net). You'll probably find more news on there.
And yeah, I am a member on there, knightfire, though definitely not as active as I am on here.

@Snooby I have to agree with you, however I just was so happy to have such a respected account back.... Member since 2006, whereas on here member since what barely the end of last year.....

No plans to sell neither of the domains.
We're primarily geared to support OpenTibia players over developers at this point, hence the Necronia and other supported sub-boards.
