What if he dies later today and loses 20 % magic level, 2 skill levels in his fighting and shielding, plus is broke. I think I would rather sell my boh and get full blessings then get it back again, better than having 0 gp after dieng :p.
 
Well, I thought like that as well, why not spend 23k more while you're at a lower level and be safe from hours and hours of skills/levels being wasted.
But then, I don't know, AOL might not be so bad at all until you're 150+, considering you can get skills/levels back, twice as fast.
