Suggestion Otland Cleanup

hmm hello otlanders, i'm suggesting to otland admins to do downtime, to make a massive cleanup to old posts and delete some fake accounts/banned to optimize Otland Database.

as you guys know, there are many guys banned due to fake account or just to spam otland..


and about the topics, close/delete to avoid those idiots spam them.

Some old need to be closed | there are some spam posts | 25% of them are fake

i dont care about the database, i care about clean some old thinks to optimize it.

well my dear panda
i'm just smelling arround searching and searching, and i see alot old topics who need to be closed, like market place (member premium time gone but topics still opened.)
hmm and my internet works fine, i upgraded it to 70mb download 7mb upload 5~10 ping, i mean i'm using fibra

He just suggested database optimization to make otland.net cleaner, which is not needed, if we delete threads, people's posts will go down and less result of otland.net on search engines.

what exists in the otland database is of no concern to the user, as long as it doesn't affect performance(which it isn't), so it doesn't really matter

deleting old posts is a nono, its like deleting parts of your past, destroying our legacy

Why does it matter? And also don't delete old threads. Some people enjoy looking back at the foolishness and such, Leave it alone. This site needs its history to stay alive.

Some threads and posts from as old as 2008 have helped me with creating a script.. Looking at other scripts help me find out my errors so I really don't see the use in deleting them...
