Hi guys!
I just wanna know, what do ya think 'bout VPS on OVH. I mean, is it worth to buy it for OTS?
Have you any lags or problems with connection? Would you recommend it?

When your using a VPS your sharing the hardware with more people, I would recommend to use a dedicated server instead.

The server might run perfect at a VPS and it might also lag.


Whats the specs on the VPS?
Price?
 
I've only heard good about OVH, but I've never tried them myself.

2 vCores (2x 2.0 GHz+)
RAM 4 GB
100 Mbps

Hmm, unfortunately our budget is kinda limited, so that's why I'm asking about VPS.

Has anyone else here ever had ots on ovh?
 
Well, ovh is good since they offer DDoS Protection so, you should order a server from there if you don't want get DDoS while your start your server!
 
Get a dedi from here, this company is a subsidiary of OVH and is hosted in their datacenters. a friend has one there and its great!

I find server4you as a good cheap quality offer:

They do not have any kind of ddos protection, but they are cheap and will give you a head start until you gain a player-base and can invest in something stronger.
I have been purchasing VPS from them several times, they have no problems keeping up with their promised 100Mbps speed.
