ERROR: Failed to connect to database, read doc/MYSQL_HELP for information or try SQLite which doesn't require any connection.
is a error i got when i tried to run my ot server. i dont no what to do ..

i got everything right until i got to the website and this occured when i did localhost/special

Nevermind i fixed that problem but i came across another one, when i try and change the website title and hit home, it just takes me to a blank page.

how do i change the website name so that you all can visit my website by typing in www.dangdangot.com

You can create a domain at http://www.noip.com/ and open port 80. Then people can use that domain to visit your site.

what about changing website name that uniserver helped me create?

do you have to pay for it?

Making a domain at noip.com is free. You only have to make a domain on that site then you can use that domain once you opened port 80.
You don't have to change anything anywhere else.

Then you are looking at the wrong thing. Create an account and then you can add a host and choose a domain.

thanks it works ! noww how do i change my server from 9.6 to 8.6??? any help?

Download an 8.6 server and add your Lua scripts and map to that datapack (data folder).

im having troubles getting my website a personal url :S i can onlu use localhost and nobody else can logg on it any ideas?

Open port 80, if you can't connect with your domain to your website you can do this.
