Well I have a windows server currently running plesk, and I was wondering if anyone know help me out with getting a server to work with it

I would recommend to not use Plesk actually. Talked to the guys from Serverloft, and they said that Remote Desktop would work better then Plesk. Plesk is for reselling, etc. websites and such.

So if you use Plesk, you can start to sell webhosting to companies and such. That's why you get extra domains when ordering a dedicated with Plesk.

Well thats what I'm currently doing with it. Remote desktop and some other softs came with the server. My only problem is every time i tried to install gresior's ACC during the first step it could never find the config.lua Even tho I pointed the install.php to the DIR 100 times.

Solution

I have an VPs with plesk.

Plesk uses some services needed to work with XamPP, so when you log in your remote desktop, go to tray icons > right click on plesk icon > stop >right click on plesk icon > close.

Then open XamPP control panel, start Apache and MysqL, you must see that they change to the green state "running", it should work.

QUOTE: And i knew what i was buying, plesk is a powerful app, but you don't need to keep it open.
Virtuozzo panel its a good way to manage your basic server resources.
