Permanent AOL script wont work

How do I make a permanent aol?

How do I make this permanent? It disappears when I die.
<attribute key="PreventDrop" value="1" /> does not work

Value 0, or try removing that line, preventDrop has nothing to do here, just leave it there.

Thanks! And how can I make another amulet have the same effect? I tried making the sapphire amulet the permanent one but it wont even let me put skill bonuses on it.
