PETA wages war on Pokemon for virtual animal cruelty

PETA - Always up for a fun flash game, I did also enjoy Super Meat Boy last time.

However the game is lame..
If you get a new pokemon it seems that the new one is especially strong against the next trainer.
Also, if you swap in you still got first turn.. wtf

awesome game logic is awesome lol

still conveyed the wrong image to people, in every game the NPCs always tell the player to treat Pokemon with respect and in the anime you see the trainers risking themselves to save their Pokemon and being totally worried if they get hurt *remembers the first Pokemon episode when Ash stood in front of a flock of Spearows to protect Pikachu that didnt wanted to go inside his Pokeball even though Pikachu did nothing but attack him until that moment*

Don't listen to anything what PETA says, they are always finding reasons to sue anyone.
They even tried to sue President Obama for swatting a fly.

PETA really are pretty pathetic. South Park nailed it when they took the piss out of them though, that episode is hilarious.

Some info about PETA in case anybody is still undecided. ;-]

TL;DR: PETA is batshit crazy.

They're in favor of "total animal liberation". Whatever that means, really. It seems out of touch with reality to me.

If anybody wonders 'what's this with all these reforms?', you can hear us clearly. Our goal is total animal liberation, and the day when everyone believes that animals are not ours to eat, not ours to wear, not ours to experiment [on], and not ours for entertainment or any other exploitive purpose.

—Ingrid Newkirk, 2002

They're against animal testing.

PETA opposes animal testing—whether toxicity testing, basic or applied research, or for education and training—on both moral and practical grounds. Newkirk told Vogue magazine in 1989 that even if it resulted in a cure for AIDS, PETA would oppose it.

Advocating violence.
“If we really believe that these animals do have the same right to be free from pain and suffering at our hands, then, of course we’re going to be, as a movement, blowing stuff up and smashing windows. For the record, I don’t do this stuff, but I do advocate it. I think it’s a great way to bring about animal liberation … I think it would be a great thing if all of these fast-food outlets, and these slaughterhouses, and these laboratories, and the banks that fund them exploded tomorrow. I think it’s perfectly appropriate for people to take bricks and toss them through the windows, and everything else along the line. Hallelujah to the people who are willing to do it.” — Bruce Friedrich, PeTA Campaign Director, Vegan Campaign Coordinator, Animal Rights 2001 Conference, July 2, 2001

...aand, that's it. I'm done. I could literally go on forever, though. ;_;

they're basically a bunch of extremists that care more about having the spotlight then the actual message they want to convey
going against Pokemon is basically that, getting the spotlight while going against everything that Pokemon teaches
