[phpmyadmin] Can someone please explain how it works

Can someone please explain how the time works. I have a column in my database called creation. It says 1402364228 for one account. I'm assuming the first 4 digits means the year. 1402 - meaning 2014. What is the rest of it? 364228 and how do I break it down so I can edit it.

I think it is counted in seconds

The base time is set to 1 january 1970 and it adds the 1402364228 seconds
(just put 0 on create_date and go to acc management to see the create date)

Maths op

1402364228 secs / 60 = 23372737,13333333 minutes
minutes / 60 = 389545,6188888889 hours
timehours / 24 =  16231,0674537037 days
days /365 = 44,46867795535261 years
1970 + 44.5 = 2014 and a half (june)
