It's insanely pointless to bump every hour and I thought against the rules.

Your server has some exploit that allows such things to happen. First you should check the server logs for any errors.. (you should have enabled logging and then all logs appear in data/logs, even when the console closed)
If you see nothing there, compile with server diagnostics etc. enabled so you see the actual crash reason in a popup.

Very possible is a bad script as well. But that's your own problem.
