About forwarding ports, recently I got a new router. Which is different compared to the one I had. When I'm forwarding ports on the new one (Netgear-router), it appears that I must enter an IP, and I can't submit the port-forward with my primary IP-adress. It appears that the ports can only be submitted with a so called starting IP-adress or an ending IP-adress. I'm asking if it matters which IP I submit the ports with.

You should use your IPv4 adress, not sure if this is the router you are using, but if it is, maybe this helps.

Else you can try to find the right one (just type your router in google with portforwarding).

look ur your ip? the ip should be like this 192.168.0.x

Yes Bassam, I already know my 192.168~ IP, but I didn't know it was the right one. Thought it was meant to be the static IP-adress. I'll forward my ports with that IP you mentioned (but mine), then I'll check if my server is available for people outside my network as well.

Edit: I tried my IPv4 address and it worked. So this means that the server is available outside my network as well?

Yes, only you have to login with your IPv4 address, others with your global ip (ip from What Is My IP Address | Shows Your IP Address).
Edit: Try to restart your client, if it gives the same error look if your IPv4 address is still the same.

That's normal, if you open your ports with your IPv4 address, you should login with that too.
