Hi fellow OT players
My friend and I have scanned the Internet to find a solution to our Problem but we cannot seem to find it anywhere.
This is why we are hoping to get some Help from you.
Problem Description:
We have been trying to host an OT Server. Using a Client 8.1 Server ( YurOt ).
We have been changing around the Config Lua script adding our IP adress which we retreive from "ipconfig" by running cdm,
aswell as trying to use the IP adress which we retreive from a webste like "www.whatsmyip.com"
We have added the informations to portforward Tibia wit the Ports "7171" TCP and UDP.
( Informations to the Router from the website "www.portforward.com" )
We have also added the ports to the firewall.
The server is now up running and we are even able to enter account informations on a different computer, the player window shows and we would be able to select a character.
As soon as we have chosen a character it starts loading and the message "Cannot connect to the gameserver shows."
we have been trying to use the command "/openserver" without any luck.
Question:
What are we doing wrong?
What needs to be changed?
Why cant we logg on to the server from a different computer?
Relevant Informations:
Router = D'Link
Model = DIR - 635
Hardware Version = B1
Firmware Version 2.20EU ( Currently running an update on the Software)
OT Server: YurOt
Client = 8.1
Script = XML (We are not 100 % sure though because there seems to be a MYSQL part in the config Lua. We can still run and acess the server though.)
Computer: Old (Windows XP. We are usig it to host the server. The computer is working fine)
We would be really happy if we could get some help.
