Portnumber problem

I dont know if this is a problem with the client, the server or even the ip changer.
When I choose a portnumber with 5 digits, 21212 in my case, I cant connect to my server.

Anyone knows anything about this?

I use the latest version of Forgotten server BTW.

I know, but if I change it in the config.lua file and in the ipchanger it should work.

Is it your localhost? If not, try port forwarding.

I tried global first, when it didnt work i ran a port scanner to check that the port actually was open, and it was.

After that I tried local, that didnt work either.

However the server worked with portnumber 7171 and 7272.

Hmm, I thought you could change it to whatever you like, but it didn't work with 2121 either so I guess you are right.

You can change it to almost whatever you like, but I think you've gotta use the 7000 series.

The port value cannot be above 65535.

Try to use a port between 6000 - 9000, that shoud work.
