Windows Ports Closed...

I think my problem with uploading my server is my ports got closed somehow, I went to sites like Open Port Check Tool and others and entered various ports and it says they are closed. I discovered this when skype and uTorrent stopped working as well.

I DO NOT have a router, so I really don't have a clue why this would happen. Any ideas? All the tutorials I could find were for people with routers.

if you got firewall at max settings that could be it, give me some more info, might be able to help u

Windows Firewall is disabled and AVG has exceptions made, the odd thing is the ports weren't closed until I started doing all this, because uTorrent and such were working up until then.

What did you start doing? using port checkers? or ots?

Installed xampp and the servers, as well as SQLite MAnager etc.

Might be ISP blocking it for some reason.. No clue really.

Well I just followed someone else's advice and it says apache.exe and mysqld-nt.exe are on those ports I need, which is correct... Haven't got a freaking clue what the hell is going on, it loads up and all, I just can't sign in...
