Hello, couldn't you make something to prevent scammers and such to create new users 24/7? <.<

I'm really annoyed with people create a new user to spamm or familiar in other threads..

etc make like this. when a user is created on a ip, the ip gets locked and that ip can never again create a new user..


there's several stuffs that you can do, etc start a "invite" function and the inviter will be the one get Shit if the new user act bad in anyway.. and only people with at least 2-3 rep bar can invite...


I dunno what you think, but seriously I'm getting pissed off for all new users that suddenly start to flame, but in fact that those kids are the same as the kid just got owned by you..

I hope you at least try to make something...

What about users in LAN area having the same IP?
Invitation system? What about people that doesnt know anyone here and still would like to join? No chance for them?
 
Well they have a system already by only allowing 1 email adress / account... with confimration xD
 
Ban their MAC address instead. Like all spammers are stupid enough not to know how to change it.

Well, if you can tell me how the hell a web script can get the MAC address of the client I'll gladly make something like that. However browsers doesn't send the MAC (you'll need a Java applet or something), and if we go so far to require that. Then we can make hardware signatures etc instead. Way harder to fake then MAC.

To be perfectly honnes you can just start a mail server, and choose to redirect [email protected] to your mailbox. That way, you'll never have to create a mail to vertify it.
