Cipsoft sold a piece of ad space for profit too an advertising company, this company put the ad for Tibia NG as they thought it would seem fitting something about Tibia would be seen on the Tibia webpage itself, NOT knowing that it was an advertisement for bots which were against Tibias rules. When Cipsoft found out they immediately contacted the advertising company and had the ad removed within a few hours, after that nothing like this happened again.

In easy words

Cipsoft sell ad space to company XXX => Cipsoft get money!
NG pays more money too company XXX too advertise their bot!
Company XXX thought Hey! Something for Tibia! If we put this on Tibias website lots of people will see it = We make profit

It wasn't any form of cooperation between NG and Cipsoft, nor did NG influence Cipsoft in anyway to advertise the bot, nor is Cipsoft in anyway related too the creators of NG, Blackd or any other bot.

1) They are using an automatic system which shows the most proper ad for that website. NG dident "pay more" for them to show it.

2) One of the creators of NG was GM for a very long time at Cipsoft.

That just shows that "tibiabot" and "cipsoft" probably work together.
It is all about marketing.
If there was no bot, there wouldn't be as many noobs,
begging their parents to buy them premium, and playing.

I think they try to keep it under wraps, but don't you see?
Cipsoft does nothing to stop "tibiabot" from making their bots.
It isn't as big of a problem, as people think.
They know tibia is hard, so they allow the devolopment of a bot.

uring the weekend, a banner ad for an improper website was displayed on this site by mistake. We would like to apologise for this misleading advertisement and the confusion it has caused in the community. Of course we do not approve of any cheat tools. We explicitely warn every player of cheat tools since you can get easily hacked when using them.

The ads that are placed on our website are selected by our advertisement partner. Needless to say, we have measures to avoid inappropriate ads. Unfortunately, the carrier of this website managed to slip through. We have of course removed the link from our website immediately. We would like to emphasise that we do not support cheat tools. Every Tibia player that is caught using or spreading cheat tools risks the deletion of his account.
