I just can't understand why my server can hold only ~80 players with lags/freezes..

This is the server on which i host OTS on TFS.

http://www.ovh.de/produkte/egplus.xml

Server is using only 5-10% CPU, and little RAM. I think its really becouse of revdbsys (or somethink like this).

I don't know on which engine is otex24.com, but just check - he can hold really much players (300+) than me on same server! Its really impossible.
Developers from OpenTibia know about it? Are making somethink with it?

I guess it's running on Windows, what priority does the server have?

(btw. TFS doesn't have revdbsys, I guess you're talking about revnetsys)

I wasn't changing priority, i'm using default setted in config:
Code:
defaultPriority = "high"

I'm using Windows 2003 Standard Edition.

And next question about save server.

It was warking, when i was have this server:
http://www.ovh.pl/produkty/start100mpluslarge.xml
(server was auto saved at 6 o'clock - i have setted in config)

When i changed to actually server:
http://www.ovh.de/produkte/egplus.xml
Then it stopped work. Don't know reason, nothink changed only host machine. I really don't understand what happens.

What do you think about Windows? Is Linux better? Becouse i thinked that Windows can too host same as linux, but just need to be good configured. Otex24.com is hosted too on Windows

BTW. revnetsys yes, that exactly what i mean ;)

The server save system will be rewritten, and about the operating system I'd say that Linux is alot better than Windows.
